Today is the birthday of my uncle, Lloyd Edgar Shenaut, 108 years ago. After driving a truck for the Civilian Construction Corps, Lloyd joined the US Army in 1941, and, after tank training, was sent to England and then to North Africa, where he was MIA in the Battle of Kasserine Pass.
