Calling it now, a small market, low-salary team will win the World Series.

At this point (Since the Phillies are out), I'm just hoping the Dodgers lose. We can't have them winning 3 in a row. Although if they do win, we will definitely get salary caps (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed).

Sal Stewart hit 31 HR with 105 RBI through August. It was virtually a lock for him to win NL ROTY after JJ Wetherholt was IL-bound. He posted a .567 OPS with 1 HR in September and saw his wRC+ slide to 112 -- a mark lower than Benge and Rumfield. He should no longer be a lock.

Benge is doing all he can to make baseball writers look really dumb when they inevitably give out an award based on RBIs in the year 2026.

How the heck did I ever write rough drafts before Copilot?
000
Baseball @gitbitorg.bsky.social · 22/08/2026
I'm going to need a Copilot agent that automatically looks at every Teams message and email I send and automatically professionalizes it. That way, I can type the way I think and say things like: "What the hell are you talking about?"

Baseball @gitbitorg.bsky.social · 22/08/2026
I don't know about all the buzzwords around AI. From hyperscalers to loops, making micro-agents is super easy.

Baseball @gitbitorg.bsky.social · 22/08/2026
AI is really fun to code with. Instead of trying to break down all the nonsense, I just send it to AI and say, "What are the keywords in this sentence?"
000
Baseball @gitbitorg.bsky.social · 21/08/2026
Sometimes I find that not telling Copilot my goal is helpful. I use the simple "Someone sent me this. How should I respond?" and it nails the response.

Baseball @gitbitorg.bsky.social · 21/08/2026
I rarely use Copilot to produce the final draft. It excels at getting an initial draft to 60–70% completion in seconds, shifting my effort from staring at a white screen to editing and strategic refinement.

Copilot exposes hidden data governance issues. If permissions are overshared across SharePoint or OneDrive, Copilot surfacing that information instantly forces IT teams to implement strict security and access boundaries.

Baseball @gitbitorg.bsky.social · 21/08/2026
The real power of Microsoft 365 Copilot isn't the LLM itself; it’s the Microsoft Graph. It synthesizes permissioned signals across emails, SharePoint files, Teams chats, and calendars into a single operational view.

I'm building a profile creator using AI. It's my first real AI tool. Just making it for myself. Right now, I'm using a lot of what I like to think of as "micro-agents". Just like I code. I'll get data, transform data, and build a field. Then I'll move on to the next field. 1/2

The executive paradox. 1. AI is saving us millions; you're all laid off. 2. There's no money for raises. 3. We need to charge more for our services.

I'm torn on the data center debate. On the one hand, businesses should be allowed to buy land and build a business. On the other hand, a person's electricity bill shouldn't go up because of someone else's actions.

Microsoft officially admitting the Windows 11 right-click menu was "cluttered and sluggish" is the least surprising revelation of the decade. It only took them years to fix a basic UI feature that worked perfectly fine in Windows 10. Better late than never, I guess?
