The sidebar footer's gear menu now controls what you see: reflog, stash count, grouped refs, the "Fully Merged" badge, stale branches, and stacked branches. Remote branches and tags also get their own sorting and filtering! Oh, and Tower is sporting a fresh new app icon! 😎

Trust matters when deleting branches, so the hint view shows exactly which checks matched — and links straight to the merge commit or the merged Pull Request, so you can verify before hitting delete.

Tower now runs 4 independent checks: Git's own merge detection, merge commit analysis, deleted remote tracking branches — and matching your branches against merged Pull Requests from GitHub, GitLab, etc. (a Tower Pro feature).

Ever deleted a branch with sweaty palms? That's squash and rebase merges for you: the commits on the base branch no longer match the ones on your branch, so Git insists it was never merged. Tower 14 puts an end to that 💪
