This week, we've been setting up #Malaisetraps in Tenerife, in an area impacted by a large-scale #wildfire in 2023. I'm excited to collect samples for DNA metabarcoding analysis. Last week, we sampled #soil #arthropods in Tenerife, where a major wildfire occurred in 2023. We’re investigating arthropod responses in fire-adapted and fire-sensitive forests. Sampling was done with Alena Sucháčková and Vojtech Lanta from Biology Centre CAS, and Carmelo Andújar from @ipna.csic.es

Nov-Dec 2024, I collaborated on the EdAFoBio project, led by Carmelo Andújar, in #Chile 🇨🇱 We sampled #soil #arthropods along two 200-km transects, one in the Mediterranean region and one Temperate region I am excited for the wocDNA metabarcoding results! @soilevoecolab.bsky.social @ipna.csic.es
