Summary:

Everyone on the team knows that Sakusa’s daemon doesn’t touch or talk to any of the others’. It’s weird, but not weird enough to be a problem. Sakusa is still a fucking great spiker. It’s also less weird than if it were anyone else on the team – after all, Sakusa doesn’t touch other people either and getting him to talk is harder than pulling teeth. Except Atsumu is a setter: it’s his job to understand his hitters and know what makes them tick. He wants them to dance to his marionette strings, he wants to be perfectly in control of these volleyball monsters. He pays attention. Which is why he’s the first one to notice that Sakusa and his daemon don’t touch or talk to each other, either.
