I havent finished 8 yet but im pretty sure im close. Its so good I love to point at the screen when I see an Ace Combat 3 location Mostly I'm just happy the series gets to keep going, feels like they haven't missed a beat despite the gap between releases (which is how 7 felt as well tbf)

I expected it and while it's definitely not the same I think the shoe fits. Will say I was still a little surprised at just how *much* it felt like a slow Dead Cells without much iteration or new flavour beyond not being a roguelike, but after I got the whip moves I felt much better about it.

Interesting, I've never really seen other people's takes on the warframe story before, but as someone who only caught up on the quests abt a year or two ago, warfame's thematic focus on dysfunctional family units Figuring It Out starts at Natah and is in full swing by like. Plains of eidolon lol

Zach Cregger Resident Evil spoilers I really like the design of the ""stalker enemy"" type monster in the movie, especially earlier on it felt weird and unnerving in a way I don't often associate with resi, whose monsters normally lean on the "ew icky gross" side than the "hmm dont like that" side

"Make it harder, too

There’s another important change from the first Control: Assist Mode can now make the game harder.

In the original game, the sliders could only reduce the challenge. In Control Resonant, they work in both directions. If you find the base game too forgiving, you can increase enemy aggression, make the Perfect Dodge Window smaller, and increase Incoming Damage to create a much more demanding experience."

internet cataloguing gripe I have is that common lists for movies by production houses/distributors don't fully separate distributed movies from in-house productions, which pairs with aggressive & deceptive branding to make people think A24/Neon/etc. make a lot more movies than they actually do.
