The "green smoke" theyre using is NOT standard tear gas. It's a military grade chemical called Hexachloroethane. Smoke grenades designed for war. Inhaling the smoke leads to chemical burns in your lungs and causes cancer. It was banned by MN's own police in 2020. ICE doesn't care. #IceOutForGood

Fedaral agents are turning Minneapolis neighborhoods into toxic waste zones. Residents are reporting the deployment of "green smoke" canisters during the recent Operation Metro Surge. Do not let the color fool you. This is not standard tear gas. It is a military grade chemical weapon with notoriously carcinogenic properties.

While local police are banned from using chemical irritants because of the danger they pose to the public, federal units operating in our city are using a loophole to deploy a poison that toxicity experts warn causes permanent lung damage and cancer.

The Chemical Reality: It Is Poison Not Protection

The munitions being deployed are Hexachloroethane (HC) smoke grenades. Unlike standard SC gas whic is just supposed to hurt you temporarily, HC smoke is designed for war.

- Carcinogenic Classification: The main ingredient is Hexachloroethane. The National Toxicology Program classifies it as "reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen." It attacks

a human carcinogen." It attacks the central nervous system, the liver, and the kidneys. They are spraying cancer causing agents on American families.

The Federal Loophole

This is the ultimate hypocrisy. Following the 2020 uprisings, the City of Minneapolis admitted these weapons were too dangerous and banned their own officers from using them in residential zones.

But the federal agencies involved in the Metro Surge do not care about local laws or your safety. They are not bound by city or state bans. They use federal jurisdiction as a shield to deploy munitions that our own elected officials deemed too dangerous.

ICE activity is increasing in Phoenix.

BE PREPARED

1: If you see ICE, report it to Puente at 480-506-7437 or People First Project at 888-354-4594

2: Use a whistle to alert the community immediately around you. 3 short bursts means ICE is in the area. 3 long bursts means ICE is detaining someone.

3: Film. It is completely lawful to film ICE. You cannot interfere with their operations, but you can and should take video.

If ICE approaches you, you can say:

1: I do not wish to speak with you, answer your questions, or sign or hand you any documents based on my 5th Amendment rights under the United States Constitution.

2: I do not give you permission to enter my home based on my 4th Amendment rights under the United States Constitution unless you have a warrant to enter, signed by a judge or magistrate with my name on it that you slide under the door.

3: I do not give you permission to search any of my belongings based on my 4th Amendment rights.

4: I choose to exercise my constitutional rights.
