I’ve been wanting to give comics a go for ages so I finally bit the bullet with a little two page, line art only Horizon comic. Inspired by a couple of ‘fever’ prompts on discord 🤒 #kotallo #aloy #zo #horizonforbiddenwest

Kotallo lies in a fevered sleep while Zo dabs his face with a damp cloth. In the last panel, Aloy enters the room looking dejected.

Aloy asks if there’s been any change or improvement to Kotallo’s health; Zo replies mournfully that there has not. Kotallo makes unhappy, restless noises in his sleep and Aloy reaches out tentatively to place her hand on his, trying to offer him some comfort.

I was so enchanted by Rebel!Kotallo and Commander!Kotallo from @hauntsjello’s amazing fic ‘before that, and colder’ on AO3, I had to sketch them. Do go and read it if you haven’t already, it’s so so good

An alternate universe Kotallo who is Commander of the Sky Clan. He wears Sky Clan pink and blue armour lined with furs and a heavy fur cloak that hides a lot of his form, including his arms, one of which may or may not be injured in a similar way to the original Kotallo’s.
