sunyaev saalehn, a purple au ra, dressed in fishing gear, reeling in their fishing line, which is positioned to look like it's reeling in the sun itself, rising over the ocean. grass in the foreground and a still slightly starry and slightly cloudy sky above them.

a painted portrait commission for the wonderful @lowpolygrapes.bsky.social of their very normal and well-adjusted warlock, shahin! #antleredartworks #Destiny2Art

A portrait of a man with brown skin, pushed back hair, and a long facial scar trailing up his cheek. He is scowling at the camera. Half of his face is obscured in darkness, and the eye on that side of his face glows with green light.

Nora is a pink tiefling, red hair with a pink underside tied in a ponytail, and light purple eyes. Both the tips of her horns and the end of her tail fade into the same light purple. She is stepping forward with rapier in one hand, while casting a spell that looks like a rose scattering its petals in her left hand. Her outfit is practical, comprised of a long sleeved shirt, trousers, and boots. She wears a decorated pauldron and vambraces on her left arm.

first time sharing my commission info here, eek! i'm reopening them for september/autumn. i like to draw tender embraces and freaky symbolism. detailed info, including links to submission forms (if you prefer that over emailing outright), can be found here; rennybu.carrd.co#terms thank you! 🌠

A commission info-graphic, showing a detailed portrait of Rook and Emmrich from Dragon Age: The Veilguard as an example piece.
At the top, spanning the width of the image, it says: "rennybu's commission info", "email, DM, or fill google form for a slot", and "rennybu@gmail.com".
On the left hand column, order and pricing information is written in sections.
"Payment upfront via PayPal invoice, after we confirm details"
"Background cost varies per piece, I offer sliding-scale (detail and pricing) options"
"portrait / bust
$115 CAD
example of $240 CAD, 2-character portrait piece incl. $56 floral frame"
"half-body
$190 CAD"
"full-body
$300 CAD"
"$500 cost or higher can be paid in increments"
"Add 60% of base cost for 2nd character, and 30% for any additional characters"

A commission info-graphic, with two art examples side by side. The style is simple and graphic; one example depicts an elf taking a break from hauling heavy gear, and the other depicts a red panda fairy sitting on a clover leaf.
At the top of the image, it says "simple spot illustrations", with pricing information and details below.
"$150 CAD
+ $90 CAD per additional character"
"- fullbody!
- monoline with simple cel shading
- ambient scene lighting, bg colour cutout
- transparent border with overlapping setpieces / props"
Separated by the image examples, further information is written in the bottom right corner:
"group (3+ characters) compositions OK!"
"I'm happy to draw creature and monster traits in any of my offered styles - wings, tusks, claws, etc."
"Moderate gore, artistic nudity, and suggestive themes are all fine. Happy to discuss if unsure!"
"rennybu@gmail.com"

Black trans people are the heart of our community. More than ever, we need more art of Black trans joy, euphoria, and love…and this zine has a bunch of it! Here’s a preview of a few illustrations. 🤎 Get the full book here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/tap...

A grid of four image previews from the Moments of Euphoria zine. Top-left, a fat Black trans man lounges on a swim tube, smiling softly as he floats down a river. Top-right, a Black trans man and trans woman get ready for a date together, the man putting on a button-up shirt while the woman puts in her earrings. Bottom-left, a Black trans man gets his chest painted with body paints by his white trans woman partner. Bottom-right, a Black character is seen from the back with fluffy green hair, sitting in a beach chair while they watch two people in the lake nearby fishing together.

Chewing over what I would put in a story that was so self-indulgent as to be cringeworthy ... and I've got plenty of elements, but no /story/. And you know what, maybe we roll with that, maybe the self-indulgent thing that no one is ever going to read doesn't have to meet formal narrative standards

A digital illustration featuring a kneeling woman holding a winged rapier. She has one large crystalline wing coming from her back, and is wearing an armor with many wing adornments. She is staring at the viewer. A large cloak with eye motifs drapes on her back and becomes smoke towards the end. The background is ornate.

A digital illustration featuring a fullbody character over a white background. She has a black, red and orange colour scheme. She has two large horns and a smoky mane. A huge tail trails behind her.

A digital illustration featuring a fullbody character on an ornate background. The character is a purple skinned drow, with hair arranged in a braid that circles the composition. They are holding a staff. They have horns adorned with candles. Their outfit becomes a mass of swirls towards the end. There are starry motifs on the picture, and the robes the character is wearing have an eye.

A digital illustration featuring a fullbody character over a plain dark grey background. The character is a creature made out of aqua quartz crystal, with ash blonde hair, blue eyes with black scleras, two horns, a lower body that becomes a tail tipped with feathers, and five set of wings spread across their body. The character has a scar in the face and crystals growing from one eye. They are wearing a magpie feather in the hair. They are holding a staff tipped with a wing shape.

Wondering to what extent the "including something in fiction means endorsing it in reality" mindset is tied to having an intensely mediated experience of the world. When real and fictional bad things are consumed in the same way, as stories, does that amplify the feeling that they are the same?
