Southern Comfort Food, Episode 15 - Candied Yams (Warning for Niffty's Violence Against Bugs) The Soft Food Diet continues! And candied yams are more than suitable for the King's sweet tooth. #southerncomfortfoodcomic #radioapple #myart

Panel 1: Alastor holds out a bowl of steaming food. "Niffty, be a dear and take this up to His Majesty and ask him what he'd like for dinner." Niffty's hands can be seen reaching up from the bottom of the panel as she cries, "Tasty tasty!"

Panel 2: The bowl is bigger than Niffty's head (because the artist has trouble being CONSISTENT) as she holds it in her arms. The bowl is full of Candied Yams swimming in a syrupy, dark brown sauce. "Can't you ask him?" she asks innocently.

Panel 3: "You've been avoiding him - talk to him, silly!" Niffty says off-camera. Alastor begins to turn away. "My dear, I'm afraid it's more complic-"

Panel 4: "TALK TO HIM" Niffty insists, her eye manic as she holds the bowl in her left arm, and without averting her gaze, slams a knife through the body of a large bug and approximately 3 inches into the table.

Panel 5: Shadow gapes at her brazen attitude, and Alastor turns his neck around 180 degrees with a sickening CRKKK. "... I should be upset at you for back-sassing me," he seethes, his antlers beginning to lengthen, green stitches appearing, and his eyes changing color.

Panel 6: Niffty walks away without a care, holding the bowl aloft over her head as she says, "You know I'm right." Alastor puts his head in a hand and leans against the kitchen counter, looking resigned. "...you're right..." Shadow is incredulous that Alastor is letting her walk away, gesturing to her retreating form as if to say, "REALLY???"

Lucifer stands with one foot on the boulder he was previously sitting on, mad as hell as he yells at a pair of Exorcists. He flips them off with his right hand as he summons a fireball with his left. Wreaths of flame encircle his forearms and up over his shoulders. A pair of tall horns with red and gray patterning protrude from his forehead, and a ball of flame sits between the two prongs. A black tail with a spaded end lashes behind him and glowing flames can be seen in his mouth. Hovering just above him is his golden snake familiar, who now has three pairs of wings, white feathers with red tips, and flames flickering along her scales and eyes. The Exorcists recoil in fright, while Alastor looks on dreamily with hearts in his eyes. His red-furred ears are visible on top of his head, and his antlers start to manifest.

#RadioAppleValentines2025 Day 4 - Gifting Flowers Whatever Lucifer was expecting after yesterday's disaster, it certainly wasn't coming to his workshop to find a rare, carnivorous Devil's Orchid sitting on the counter, its petals open and apple-scented lure curling below. #radioapple

#RadioAppleValentines2025 Day 3 - Confessions Turns out the Huntsman had a secret of his own. The shapeshifter sat down, and Lucifer reached for the bleeding gash. "Sorry the Exorcists ruined our date. They don't like me very much. Cursed witch and all." "They don't like me either." #radioapple

Lucifer kneels in front of Alastor's giant cryptid form, healing a bleeding wound on the side of his head. Lucifer is soaked with water from head to toe, his clothes are dirty, and there are bruises and scuff marks on his face and arms.

Alastor crouches down, staring rather intently at Lucifer's face. Southern Comfort Food, Episode 14 - Banana Pudding He's on the mend! (Belphegor told him not to strain his voice for a few days.) WELCOME TO SEASON TWO!! #southerncomfortfoodcomic #radioapple #myart

Lucifer is nestled among pink pillows and blankets in a hospital bed; he's wearing a blue gown and bandages around his neck, and his hair is in disarray. Behind him is an IV that's hooked up to his right arm.

Charlie comes up in her usual red hotel uniform, carrying a small tray bearing an impressive ice cream glass filled with Banana Pudding made with sliced bananas, whipped cream and vanilla cookies. Southern Comfort Food, Episode 13, Part 2 - Apple Tartlets (TW: hospitals, vomit) And the big reveal! I noticed the mistake when Peach Cobbler came out. Decided to make it part of the storyline instead of redoing everything, and I'm glad I did! #southerncomfortfoodcomic #radioapple #myart

PANEL 7: From Alastor's POV, Lucifer looking up at him, the washcloth having fallen to the side of the pillow. Alastor's hand curls around him, as if to maybe strangle him, but his hand is shaking, and Lucifer just holds his palm.

Alastor (offscreen): NEXT TIME, DON'T -

PANEL 8: Grayscale flashback to Lucifer vomiting up golden blood, clutching at the front of his shirt.

PANEL 9: Grayscale flashback of Alastor carrying Lucifer in his arms - neither of their faces are visible. Indiscernible cries of alarm coming from the other residents. Lucifer's head lolls back as he starts to convulse, golden blood on his hands, his face, and the front of his shirt which has been unbuttoned along with his vest and bowtie.

PANEL 10: Now back to his normal size, though his antlers are still prominent, Alastor hugs Lucifer to him, burying his face in his shoulder. Lucifer hugs back.

Alastor: Just don't.

PANEL 11: Lucifer lies in a hospital bed, slightly propped up, with an IV attached to his left arm and bandages around his neck. He's wearing a blue hospital gown, tucked among pink bed linens presumably supplied by Belphegor. A golden blush colors his face as Alastor leans forward also blushing a little and kisses the back of his left hand, looking him in the eye.

Alastor: And don't think I haven't noticed your wedding ring has been missing from your finger ever since I made you chicken and waffles.

PANEL 1: An arrangement of medical computer and lab equipment sits on a desk in the dark, but light emanates from the computer monitor. In the foreground, bathed in heavy shadow, is a slightly crushed bakery box, addressed to "Charlie Morningstar." A note on top reads, "Congratulations on the new program!" PANEL 5: Alastor grows larger to the point where his face fills the panel, as he glares down at a tiny Lucifer, who looks terrified.

Alastor: Six days. SIX DAYS you've been delirious with a raging fever and I swore that if the poison didn't kill you - I'D DO IT MYSELF.

Lucifer: Hiiii there mister. I made you a snack. Heard you were having a bad day -

PANEL 2: Alastor's shadow appears, larger and with its antlers transforming into spikes. Its threatening silhouette glows lime green as it gets up in Lucifer's face. Lucifer just stands there with a plate of hot cornbread in his hands, unbothered.

Shadow: SCREEEEEEE

PANEL 3: The shadow pauses, its antlers shrinking, noticing the cornbread. The background is lighter.

PANEL 4: The shadow has gone back to its usual size, and it's sniffing at the plate happily, little shadow hearts appearing. The background is lighter still.

Alastor (offscreen): Did you make cornbread?

Lucifer tilts head to look past Shadow with a smile.

PANEL 5: Lucifer sits down on Alastor's bed. Alastor is nowhere to be seen under a massive pile of maroon blankets wrapped around him. All that is visible are his glowing red eyes and his hands as he plucks a slice of cornbread off the top of the plate, holding it delicately in his claws. He glares at it dubiously.

Lucifer: Yup! Niffty showed me! Even used a cast iron pan!

PANEL 6: Alastor munches on the cornbread within the confines of his blanket mountain, and the shape of his eyes imply he's quite happy. His shadow sits behind him, smiling widely and projecting little heart shadows.

Alastor and Lucifer stand at the kitchen counter, sampling a plate of steaming hot hush puppies (round, fried bits of dough) with some dipping sauces. Both have traded their coats for cooking aprons. Alastor's green apron says, "MY KITCHEN MY RULES." Lucifer's royal blue apron has a cartoon rubber duck with a chef hat on. Alastor inspects a hush puppy with tartar sauce on the end of a tiny fork.

Alastor: Usually hush puppies are paired with some kind of fish dish, but seafood seems to be hard to come by down here! They make an excellent snack though! You know, there's a FASCINATING history behind these little morsels. (He proceeds to give a small TEDtalk.)
