Hi #kidlitartpostcard ☀️ Greetings from Bologna to the kidlit community! I’m Martina, an Austrian illustrator with a passion for everything artsy, cultures, festivities and lush nature scenes. I‘d love to hear from you :) rep‘d by Anne Moore Armstrong at the Bright Agency martinastuhlberger.com

The picture shows a diverse range of children inside a bold and interactive museum. There are colorful, creative installations to touch and play with.

I have almost forgotten how to do this - #kidlitartpostcard, anyone? Wheeeee! I am Gila, author-illustrator from Germany. Quirky, cute, fairly commercial, currently querying a new dummy. Send chocolate! www.gila.be

I... think... maybe... I broke my creative slump? Have a new dummy, playing with a new style, got a ton of PBParty requests, started querying again yesterday... progress? (ask me again in a couple weeks how *that* is going.)

Back from vacation, have escaped my creative slump, now querying my (oh my gawd, so many😍) #PBParty requests... I guess I am back? :)

Any idea if and when you are open to PB queries again? Just started querying all PBParty requests (I made illustration showcase "only," don't think you considered those this year?) But would hate missing out on querying Tobias/ you. :)

Oooooh, my copies made it to Germany! Oy, Santa, written by Joyce Schriebman - terrific unique take on explaining why Hanukkah is not "the Jewish Xmas." Includes Mrs Claus in a bikini. And cats. Many cats.

So where is everyone moving? My choices were always Germany, Netherlands, USA, Israel. Not in that order. I am f* everywhere. So GO - give me tolerant, liberal countries without extreme weather disasters.

So... non-GN illustrator could query with folio only? I have no GN ambitions, but strong PB folio, and looking to age up a bit this spring.

2023. Went to Bologna & Israel. Illustrated one US trad book. Illustrated a lot of commercial things. Book, board game, activity book. Starting trad title this week, plus 1-2 commercial PB due in spring. And my agent quit. So basically, 2023 was me querying. #artvsartist2023 #kidlitart
