gij @gij.ink · 09/08/2026one of my all-time fav comms made by @unguu.bsky.social Elliot doing a phenomenal job making out/over myself into being ourselves together (we're Elliot). We're naturals at this sorta thing. 115734
gij @gij.ink · 02/08/2026I literally walk here from my place every now and then, it genuinely rules lmao 130
gij @gij.ink · 29/07/2026writing myself down a note about this all over my desk extremely loudly so i don't forget to ask 1131
gij @gij.ink · 21/05/2026May have gotten a little too carried away between material details & dynamic lighting. 1215
gij @gij.ink · 19/05/2026Further work on this. Added some proper material & albedo treatment, and redid the wrinkling appearing near depressions to work with a blurred depth delta texture. I was also able to use that depth delta texture for some UV-space ambient occlusion, which helps sell it a ton in first person. 836967
gij @gij.ink · 19/05/2026Decided I'd try simulating wrinkles/tension in the fabric when the surface is being depressed. It's not perfect & not actually physically simulated (just lerps in an extra normalmap offset in the material shader itself when the surface is pushed down), but it gives the impression pretty effectively 3754
