Still trying to cool the flat after the heatwave, but the gusts of wind today keep blowing the windows shut! I want the breeze in my flat!!

Church looked beautiful last week for Corpus Christi. We’re so lucky to have such wonderful volunteers spending their time to make the church look so wonderful #ChurchOfEngland #CorpusChristi

Had a wonderful visit to #LeicesterCathedral in the sunshine yesterday. A very beautiful and peaceful place. We also had a lot of fun exploring the city and doing a little shopping!

Yesterday I accidentally got Astarion killed 😥🤦‍♀️ myrkul smacked him off the back of the platform…immediate death. Absolutely my fault because of where I’d moved him too. Thankfully still won the fight and was able to revive Astarion! Such a dumb move from me though #BaldursGate3 #bg3

Ugh just had the dark urge/companion camp scene. That was unexpected and brilliant. Excellent performances all around #BaldursGate3 #bg3

I managed to recruit Minthara this time! So happy about that. Seems like she’ll be a fun addition for my Dark Urge playthrough! #BaldursGate3 #bg3

So the dark urge playthrough is going okay! I definitely got a few things better this time so far. All the above ground act 1 (apart from the mountains) done. Just headed into the underdark but through a different entrance this time. This is where I think I missed the most stuff last time #bg3

I was going to take a break from #bg3 but then I immediately had to start a dark urge playthrough instead 🤦‍♀️ I missed those awesome folks so much! #BaldursGate3

Finally finished! That last fight on the top of the brain is tricky - kept losing concentration on the crown spell! What a beautiful ending. Cried A LOT! What an amazing game #BaldursGate3 #bg3 (going to take a little break and then think I’m going to play again - sure i missed things!)

gigglyknitting.bsky.social @gigglyknitting.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

Getting a little frustrated with myself…made it to the top of the elder brain but just can’t cast the spell on the crown! Keep losing concentration/going unconscious. It was going so well till this section too! Oh well, I will keep persevering I guess 😮‍💨 #BaldursGate3 #bg3

So far going okay. Finished the Gortash quest. Made a decision on Orpheus. Gathered my allies and through the first big Upper City fight with everyone in my party conscious (lots of other people not though 😩) getting late so finish tomorrow?! Nervous/excited 😮‍💨#BaldursGate3 #bg3

Okay so heading into the final couple of bbeg battles in #BaldursGate3 and for some reason I feel actually in real life nervous! I also don’t want this game to end I have enjoyed it so much!

It’s day 2 of my child’s residential with their school. I didn’t get a phone call in the middle of the night so that’s positive 😂 I am still not used to how quiet it is in the house without them!

I usually like being single, but then every now and again I realise I need to do a chore I don’t enjoy, or want to go to the cinema and can’t get childcare and then I daydream about having a partner. But I then usually realise my partner wouldn’t be pedro pascal or Oscar Isaac 😂😂

So disappointed in so many people in the uk in yesterday’s local election. Why are they voting for Reform?! Farage is just T***p - lite 🤦‍♀️😡 apparently many more racist and misogynistic people in this country than I thought 😥

Watched the first three episodes of series 2 of #Andor …really enjoying it. I like the darker side of the #StarWars stuff. The original campy ones are good, but I really like the grittiness of this series.
