After a mostly Indie gigs month of May it’s a punk-filled June. Who else is gigging these?

Great gig from The Frank And Walters last night in Edinburgh. Their first here in over 30 years! Looking forward to when they play Scotland again (with the full band, soon apparently) 🙏❤️

I was lucky enough to be at one of Franz Ferdinands album launch shows in Edinburgh last week and wrote about it for my blog www.gig-antics.live/post/franz-f...

Great early evening album launch gig tonight for Franz Ferdinand at Edinburgh Liquid Rooms. A good mix of new tunes and a few classics mixed in. Only two weeks into 2025 but this has set a high bar for gig of the year already. #gigantics #franzferdinand #indielegends

Happy New Year Gig-Antics folks! How's everyone's January gig list coming on? Here's mine for the month (all Edinburgh except BMX Bandits in Glasgow). Will I see any of you at these?

I use spotify to find new bands and one way to share what I like with others. I expect if they decide to pay artists more they'll do it by charging users more instead of giving up their profiteering. That said, here's my year in summary. Also who can explain what Goth Tribute Goth Rock actually is!?

Swiss punks The Monsters played an outstanding set at Edinburghs Cabaret Voltaire a couple of weeks ago. I wrote about it, check out my blethering here. www.gig-antics.live/post/the-mon...

Bill Drummond's surreal and brilliant Galloverse is the new perfect Sunday morning service every music lover needs in their lives. Eighties classics reimagined in a very different sound. Beautiful.
