I’d use photos as a baseline, because when the scales stick, you see actual progress

So what I meant to say was, I’m training to fail now. All going well until I’m on the bench with a dumbbell and almost drop it on my face 🤣 some might say it would’ve been an improvement mind

Phil #ForNate 🦶🇸🇱🎗️ @gidsentinel.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

Tell that was a hurried response 🤣🤣 I’ll try again

I swear to god, aside from the obvious benefits to health, the headspace that has been developed through taking accountability of my health has helped me navigate through some particularly testing times. I can’t push taking care of yourself enough 🎗️

Don’t know why, but I found myself watching the inauguration. Bit too religiousy for my liking, however, their anthems and songs are absolute bangers, sang properly mind. Bit cringe otherwise

Wouldn’t say I’m brave. Just trying to play the hand life has dealt me but then, aren’t we all? Gladly take the hug though 🫂 I’m a hugger 🤣

Been feeling isolated and depressed, kinda wasn’t listening to the body and I was going to crush my body at the gym to ignore the negative spaces in life rather than accept and react to them. Been a big boy and given myself a rest day and thought about where I am instead.

Earlier in the week I did an interview for this Men’s Mental Health charity in partnership with a Brain Tumour Charity and the whole experience was incredibly raw and it’s really got my thinking about how I view myself in a different light. How I cope in a different light. Solid this sometimes 🙃

Guess everyone’s resolution started today then. Gym was rammed. Pissing it down on the way to the gym. Snowing on the way to work. It’s Monday anddddd the first five day week of 2025… At least the Rovers won. It does make a huge difference

Watching the Lockerbie show with Colin Firth on Sky, halfway through the first episode and crikey me it’s powerful. Had to bite my lip a couple of times. I would’ve only had been 3 and a bit at the time.
