Demo! Nice - you're a couple of steps ahead of us. We're hoping to have a demo early next year. I wish I could give you some solid tips for recruiting playtesters. This is the private playtest so doing it via emails and keys. But the next one will be public through Steam's own playtest feature.

Probably not telegraphed enough - only just put them in this week. But definitely will need to make it clear that the thermal laser enemies are an IMMEDIATE threat, while the torpedo enemies are more of a DELAYED threat (torpedoes need time to get to you)

Would be a mix really. Some enemies you might keep at longer range and buff the salvos heading to them. Others might get close (whether you like it or not) and you either have to keep them at range or work out how to defeat them at short range. Loads of juicy possibilities!

... continuing! - There will be "high-maneuver" decks you can build that let you get close to an enemy, fire off some volleys, then get back to a safe range before the end of the turn So range really has loads of opportunities for building strategies and decks around.

Hi. Range opens loads of mechanics: - You can buff your projectiles (or nerf theirs) using cards while they're in flight, which can really benefit a "long range" run - Some weapons will be more effective at long or short range, encouraging range play

Like the concept. I've always thought about something similar to this. A survival game where you actually have an objective (to escape in this case). Rather than survive until you thrive, (and then die of boredom!) which most games seem to do.
