Profiles of young US voters show a low level of trust in government and a high level of ignorance about government function. I've seen profiles showing their attraction to chaos, clowning, mockery. Don't know the solution, but we have to show them why it matters.

Ugh fent. I'm surprised anyone is doing coke recreationally now. If dealers mix badly, there can be tiny chunks of concentrated fent that can cause an OD. Strips can miss it. There were tragedies in my city last year from exactly this.

It's older than any current clique of wealthy people who successfully recruit poor young people to their machine. I went to a college that was a neo-con whelping box. The admin knew whose family had real money, those kids at were nurtured at home and school to expect wealth at any cost to others.

My city (Seattle) has long struggled with this as well. Making the police carry their own insurance seems like low hanging fruit. We have the laws to reach real the goal of personal accountability that includes incarceration, the judiciary and 'frameworks' are full of loopholes.

ICE will be violating rights more frequently, individuals can be held accountable. Some cases are in process now. If they’re ramping up arrests, we need to ramp up public information about how to hold officers accountable. City attorneys refer cases to county and state for state prosecution.
