With chocolate chip ones I do powdered sugar, butter and maybe a dollop of whipped cream (no syrup) When they’re savory it’s butter and pepper relish or something similar But regular pancakes (aka the best) are just what you said, with maybe a super light dusting of powdered sugar for aesthetics
