the good part is Cavalry’s speed and the attribute panel, which makes it easy to access effects/behaviors and connect them to any parameter. There's an annual subscription to unlock some tools, but honestly, most of the features are available for free. (idk what lotties are, but ain't missing them)

Thanks to alternative software lists like these, I was able to break my last Adobe dependency on motion graphics. I opted for Blender VSE, but then tried Cavalry and stuck with it for every project I was able to work on. Basically all the animated overlays posted here hehe 🧵
