In a paper with Matteo Bizzarri and Riccardo Franceschin, now published on EJPE, we study how and why third-party involvement affects the occurrence of resource wars. Using a theoretical model, we show that conflict probability is hump-shaped in resource wealth. doi.org/10.1016/j.ej...
