SNAP (Food Stamps) run out at the end of October. If the government doesn't reopen and pass a budget by then it is assumed that many on SNAP will riot, loot and even kill you for your cart of food. Do your shopping this week. Don't be out in the stores the day after Halloween. Stay safe.

EBT should be a few boxes per family, per month. Staples of beans, rice, cereal, pasta, veggies, fruit, Milk. Etc. If you need extra you should have to work a minimum of 20 hours a week somewhere of the states choosing. With exceptions for the elderly and injured who cannot work.
