Watched Black Christmas (1974) for the first time last year and it’s the most campy, entertaining, festive horror movie. Great for a couple drinks at home with your favorite people. It’s also on Prime rn.

This is fiction set in the near future but it gives a realistic expectation of what the climate could be like in forty years, especially with a 70 degree day in November in Pittsburgh. Incredibly engrossing read too.

Last year I told my partner we should go to Norway to see the Northern Lights. Wedding planning makes travel difficult for financial reasons so the Aurora Borealis came to us here in Pittsburgh instead.

I ended up doing a Samuel Clemens accent for a character in a game I was running and another player came to the table with same accent in mind. We all spent the whole design trying not to keep talking like that out if character.
