Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 24/09/2026This is also why I am still a Speccy fan more than a C64 fan. The C64's hardware lent itself more to a bad imitation of arcade games, instead of whacked-out original art conjured from fuck knows where. 010
Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 24/09/2026The way the zone's colour theme changes the further you progress (e.g. screenshot is in the green zone) is still fundamentally exciting to me. I can't think of many modern games that do it, but having such a distinct change is compelling to me. 130
Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 31/08/2026He looks like your grandmother's friend Maureen who complained to the council asking them to remove play equipment from the local park because the sound of children having fun upsets her shitty little yappy cancer dog 030
Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 25/08/2026This is horseshit UI. I just spent five minutes trying to figure out what the bug is with my calendars. Turns out the red i circles are NOT errors, they just made them red (and almost identical to the text message not sent error markers in Messages) for some reason. 010

Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 01/08/2026The US is too impressed with its food, currently going through a phase of believing that Europeans visiting for the World Cup all feel blessed because they got to experience some mediocre tex-mex, when really they should be extolling the virtues of these fucking beauties 110
Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 09/07/2026As a native of Clacton myself I can inform you that it's Clacton-on-Sea, not Clacton-by-Election, sillies. 010
Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 02/07/2026That's five words but I can see how it might work. 010

Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 29/04/2026I got this one sometime during the middle of the year when it was current. Hugged it all the way home in the car Glad I didn't know there would be a much better box a few years later, I'd have hossed it out of the window and kicked my sister 030
Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 07/04/2026Probably in the top ten of yorkshire puddings made in the US this weekend But at best a 7/10 by UK standards 120
Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 15/10/2025Fuck off away from Moomin, America. You are unable to understand, only to merchandise and consume. 030
Oak Video @ghostingeffect.bsky.social · 02/09/2025Serves me right from ordering from Amazon, but look at what you get when you report an item as being not delivered lol: 010
