phone sketch/style experiment I liked and wanted to post somewhere #my-art

Woman drawn in green, nearly naked except for barely-visible panties. Shes sitting in a relaxed pose with one leg bent at the knee in front of her. She has thick, heqvy lashes and is smiling calmly at the viewer

So I ended up getting a new phone recently that came with a stylus. It took a while to get used to, but it's been really nice to be able to draw while curled up in bed, since pretty much any other position makes my body protest. I still get hand cramps but it's still been really freeing

@fangyy.at.app.wafrn.net [kicks down the door, gasping, wheezing, covered in dirt and blood] here's that gay horse art i owe you #sorry-for-the-wait-health-was-bad-and-i-could-not-draw-ponies-to-save-my-life-c': #mlp #sombra #sunburst #somburst

drawing of two male My Little Pony unicorns from about chest-up. The one one on the left is gray, black,a nd red wearing a crown, cloak, and armor and grinning down at the other. The second pony Is orange and yellow with a blue-green cloak and glasses, blushing and smiling and looking away. There are hearts between them.

a much looser, sketchier doodle of the same two ponies. On the left is the yellow pony with a cellphone floating in front of him with a proud smile, saying in a speech bubble:
"...you see to reflect the legendary 0-144 loss streak of the real life Haru Urara, its notoriously difficult and seen as a challenge to do a run that yields the player an S-rank Haru. However with careful preperation with the right deck and legacy sparks its possible to...."

on the right is the gray pony standing, tensed, eyes wide and staring intensely at the yellow pony. Behind him in bold impact-font letters says:
GOD I NEED TO SOM-BUST INSIDE HIM

Saw this post going around but I've only ever heard of TeamSpeak before. Is anyone here familiar with any of these? I've only seen Matrix, Signal, and Stoat brought up (critically) on fedi Link to the original post: www.tumblr.com/bootlegfriend/808087…... see complete post

Black background with white text that reads:

list of Discord alternatives:

Stoat (formerly known as Revolt)
Open Source alternative to Discord made by ex devs, probably the closest to Discord in UI, have heard whispers about staff being abusive however no actual evidence has ever been shown

Mumble
Open source and all data is stored locally, though it is primarily a voice chat service a text chat can be used if someone joins a call and stays muted.

TeamSpeak
yes TeamSpeak is still around and their UI isn't ass anymore, ngl I think this one or Stoat are the ones people are gonna be migrating to the most

Zulip
Literally looks like Discord but Professional And Serious

Spacebar
I don't expect many people to use this one and honestly I could see Discord removing it, but Spacebar is a self-hosting open source version of Discord's backend, quite literally just a locally hosted Discord, quite a hassle so set up though

Cinny
Yet another "that's literally just Discord but Serious" alternative

every day i cannot kiss their little heads is a travesty.

five multicolored blobs on an orange background. The frontmost one is green with large vacant but wide green eyes, with little yellow lines above it indicating excitement. Behind the green blob to the left is a slightly larger red blob with angry red eyes and a small puff of air coming from it indicating that it's huffing in irritation. To the right of the green blob is a slightly smushed looking purple blob with somewhat narrowed tired-looking purple eyes facing downward and looking to the left towards the green blob. The purple blob has a sweatdrop, indicating exhasperation. A larger yellow blob is behind all three of the others with happy closed eyes and curved pink lines coming from it indicating laughter. Floating above and to the right of all four is an upside-down teardrop shaped blue blob with very sad blue eyes and a teardrop coming from one of them.

A large crowned unicorn with a long, billowing mane, and heavy eyelids is looking down at the smaller horse beside him with a cool, thoughtful expression.

The smaller unicorn has glasses, a cloak, and a small beard with short but slightly messy hair. He's using magic to float an open scroll in front of him and is focused on reading it, no noticing the way the other unicorn is watching him intently.

Okay I decided to do Trixie first because she's closer to what I've drawn before. I got a little silly with it, hope you like it :neoghost_comfy__w_:

Several sketches of the pony Trixie drawn in soft shades of blue, teal, purple, and gold as anaccent color.
The top left is the largest and most detailed drawing of her without any accessories, posing with one forehoof raised and a large confident smile looking towards the viewer.

At the bottom left is a less detailed drawing of her sleeping on the ground, dressed in her witch's hat and cloak'her forehooves splayed out in front of her and mouth open with a wide smile. Thought bubbles are coming out of her head and open to the right for the next drawing.

The thought bubble shows her dreaming of a scene of her looking tall and elegant, wearing a gold cloak and and crown; the front point of the crown is comically tall and ends in a star to make it look somewhat like the magic wand that her cutie mark (the symbol on a pony's hip). Trixie is looking down at a much more rudely drawn Twilight Sparkle who is saying, "Wow Trixie! You saved everyone with your cool magic so we made you princess of the world!" Trixie responds "It was nothing~". Behind Trixie is a rudely drawn Miku, presumed to also be there to congratulate Trixie.

At the top right is a cute and silly closeup of Trixie wearing her hat with her head tilted back, visible eye squeezed shut and hoof raised proudly. Behind her are bubble letters reading "OHOHOHOHO"

At the bottom right is a drawing of her wearing her hat and cloak, sitting with a wide eyed but blank expression. She has a thought bubble again, this one showing a screenshot of the windows crashing bluescreen.

Near the center is an extremely tiny drawing of her with no accessories, smiling with dot eyes, and the word "yippeeeee"

Finally playing my very normally obtained Pokémon Violet, and I was not prepared for how absolutely moé Arven gets. Needless to say I'm now going all in on sandwich quest for our weird dog.

A screenshot showing an in-game photo of the player character and Arven smiling happily after eating a sandwich together. Both characters have their eyes squeezed shut; the player has a smaller closed-mouth smile with a hand lightly cupping their cheek, while Arven has his mouth wide open and both hands clapped against his cheeks.

On the photo has the text:
