”Palestine” has been mentioned and written about in countless books and maps and currencies back to 1000AD. Herodotus, as an example, mentions Palestine 8 times in his book “Historiae” circa 450AD. Historians know in certainty that Ottomans discussed and mapped Palestine. Here’s a map from 1911:
