I don't like the term "gaming distro" in general because they're either bad like Nobara or it ubdersells the distro. Something like PikaOS is a true stable rolling distro that should be celebrated as much instead of just a gaming distro

Same with me which is why Fedora is on my work laptop, rock solid and still up to date, plus I think dnf is my favorite package manager CachyOS tho is just a monster performance wise and the custom kernels are unmatched. Fastest OS I've ever used, just that being Arch based 1/2

Reignited is make or break for RS3 in 2027 because I can't see Jagex actively maintaining 3 mmos if RS3 isn't pulling and Dragonwilds if RS3 isn't pulling its weight, they are not Blizzard or true AAA size

It feels like 2027 is a last ditch effort to keep RS3 afloat, I get the concerns of veterans but the economy is so bad I don't know how Jagex could fix it. imo if RS3 doesn't grow next year I think development stops in favor of RS4 development

I was more hoping that Dragonwilds would include Gielinor as a major expansion instead of RS4 because exploring the map in single player and that style would be cool With RS4 something has to give and the resources it will take makes it a massive risk if it flops

I know CS2 has a native Linux port and The Finals also runs good through Proton. Helldivers 2 also runs but once in a while Proton has to hotfix when the game updates

Windows is already on shaky ground as Linux grows in popularity but if Windows 12 requires a NPU that will be the straw that breaks the camels back, TPM 2.0 was already a harsh requirement for 11, requiring people to buy a 2022 or newer computer would be suicide for MS
