I know this will go to no one but I couldn’t help myself:

A fund raising text from Amy Klobuchar claiming: ‘ A Trump billionaire is spending $13 million to defeat Amy Klobuchar. Pitch in by the EOQ deadline to help her.’

And my response: ‘ I wish you would send texts about why I should vote for her (what she actually plans to do to protect us from Trump) rather than just try to scare me into giving money. I would give money if I actually knew she was going to stand against Trump and the fascist agenda that puts trans people, women, immigrants and human rights at grave risk.’

I would have loved it if this newsletter writer had said ‘but Mom doesn’t love when people are hurting trans kids.’ Or ‘when people are keeping food from kids in Gaza’ or anything else in the true spirit of Mother’s Day (www.zinnedproject.org/news/tdih/mo...)
