Margate Fc, Marillion and bad golf! I don't think kindness is a weakness. I don't have a problem with compassion....... (Reef, Consideration)

I went to the night where the stand collapsed, I had waited years to see them and saw about ten seconds. Fortunately they rescheduled and I was able to go, and as you say it was magnificent

I just reading your fake history book and the amount of negative events that you record in that book that are now happening here is frankly terrifying

Also, the media will never hold them to account because of two reasons. Some(most) are complicit and sympathetic to Reform, and funded by the same interests. Their instinct is to protect the wealthy and the kind of mythical exceptionalism that Farage peddles. It's too late, we are in trouble 😥

Why are you astounded? It's just the next stage. These spivs are using the same tactics that Trump used to get his traction, and we can all see how that has ended. The inertia of both the last and present govts is/was a perfect environment for Reform to spread division, bend 'laws' and gain coverage

Basically, under the Reform constitution, this guy was giving Farage a million a month. Now he parting with the reported figure. It's quite extraordinary that anyone can vote for these people. Look at the Trump model and see. Inertia is the enemy. People need to speak out, now.

I completely agree with what you say, everything you have ever said and everything you will say in the future Otto.

They are on every news channel, all over the Internet and dominate the print media. For them, that is job done. They know nobody will hold them to account or call out their lies or whatever. A few may try, like you Otto, but the big picture to them is publicity, relevance and influence

Having said that, Oddschecker haven't realised Labour etc are not standing. But they have Reform at 1-40 average and CB 40-1

I think this is a calculated act of attention seeking. Badenoch knows his past, but is gambling that the whole story keeps her relevant. She is warped, truly deranged at times. The man is vile. He was vile and remains vile. But it gets her on the radio, the tele and a few front pages. So it's OK 🙄

I just watched fifteen mins on ITV, BBC and C5. Every single commentator just spouted a non stop narrative of negativity. They all are desperate for him to fail, so as to justify their sad little existances and feed their need for relevance. He has no chance, he will go same way as SKS

He's just Starmer in a different suit. And he won't last either. No one can lead this nation when it's so hopelessly and catastrophically divided. Since Brexit polarised everything, families and friends have turned on each other and riots await. And the media are a huge part of the problem.

You can dream. Don't underestimate the forces behind me, his own canny operation and most of all the fact that the genie is well and truly out of the box. Badenoch is useless, Lowe is even too extreme for some, so Farage remains the vote of choice for the right.

Pathetic sabre rattling by a govt too scared to stand up the real problem and regulate the sites properly. They will force the kids into needless criminality, defined as such by a clueless policy. You despair of the govt, they are spectacularly failing in all areas and letting Reform in
020
GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 14/06/2026
They may as well just openly admit they are scared of Musk and all the other CEOs. Instead they punish the kids who should be being protected by the govt, not forced into needless criminality as defined by a failing govt who appear to have taken leave of their senses

GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 14/06/2026
The govt should ban itself from half of them too

GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 12/06/2026
Our pathetically weak govt is so frightened of these people that they have created the perfect vacuum in which they can become effective. No one calls them out, no one investigates them, no one stops their online activities. They have a free pass to do their thing, and God help us in the future

I do agree, and it's also a triumph of pragmatism over romance. MA finally found a way to win using defensive solidity, set piece excellence and team efficiency over individual brilliance. MA owes this win more to what he learnt from Moyes rather than Pep. Congrats to them

The biggest lie in British politics is Nigel Farage and Reform, full stop

GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 14/05/2026
You wonder about the sheer arrogance and entitlement of these clowns. Did they not look at the results? There is no seat safe enough for Burnham at the moment, especially as a special case import. What a load of short sighted rats they all are. And meanwhile, Farage sits watching and laughing
0125
GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 06/05/2026
Surprised? Every significant media channel, social media rumour mills and algorithms , most printed media are all pro Reform. Greens also taking voters. Reform will make huge gains and will still escape any meaningful scrutiny. KS will be replaced. We are sleep walking into a Trumpian future

GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 06/05/2026
They know what they are doing. They are streets ahead in the mind manipulation game, using planted stories, faux outrage, social media rumours and scaremongering. Plus they also avoid scrutiny because they are media manna from heaven. Toxic mix means they win big on Thurs.
120
GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 06/05/2026
They will win big on Thurs because most news outlets, twitter, Facebook etc want them to. Any 'scrutiny' may occur when they actually have power. That's the biggest danger, like it was for Johnson. Just like him, they have a free pass currently apart from a few voices on here. Depressing but true

Isn't Anna Turley in the government?
000
GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 12/04/2026
Cynical me thinks Orban will make sure he wins somehow. A lot of commentators seem to have faith in the democratic voting process and the system, but men like Orban will have used his years in power to manipulate and pervert. I expect reports of dubious voting patterns, coercion and he claims a win

No, because they are the football equivalent of Trump.

GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 08/04/2026
These are fundamentally dangerous and clueless people. They are dragging the world into an extended nightmare as each day passes. And worst of all, they think they know best and know what they are doing. It's a seismic moment in the world order, thanks to fools, warmongers and egotistical idiots
081
GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 08/04/2026
In the end, Israel are led by a warmonger and the USA by an unhinged, clueless despot. And most of the world are too scared of them to stand up and say this war is illegal, pointless, has no foreseeable end and is economically and politically toxic and damaging. I give the ceasefire 36 hours at most

GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 04/04/2026
Just check the look of utter contempt at the questioner. Check the nasty streak. The man cannot deal with the slightest of challenges. Paper thin but gargantuan ego. If only we had some braver journalists, some fearless scrutiny and some actual meat on the bone of his rhetoric to challenge

000
GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 21/02/2026
Unlikely I fear. I think the Reform train will rumble on, no matter how vile the people in it are. No one ever properly holds them to account who matters (sorry Adam, but you are one of few who try) , and too many myths they have fostered are now facts in the social media world.

GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 25/01/2026
Burnham is no better then Starmer. He would not improve their polls. He is as deluded as Starmer that the majority of the print media and Reform voters will change. He not brave enough to take them on and call them out, or to tackle social justice and inequality. Farage would eat him alive
000
GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 25/01/2026
They such a clueless govt. They spend huge amounts of time and energy trying to impress or suck up to media and voters who will never like them in any way. And they are clearly more interested in self preservation than serving, just like Johnson and Sunak were. Politics is depressing on all sides
000
GH 1965 @gh1965.bsky.social · 25/01/2026
Politics is so depressing at the moment. This morning perfectly illustrates the primary motivations of MPs nowadays. Starmer and Co showing self preservation is all that matters. Rosindell showing shock jock, division and closet racism sells. None of them serve, they just love power or attention
