@billorcutt.bsky.social at the Allan Gardens in Toronto, August 9th. Shot on #Kodak #Portra400 with a Konica Big Mini #35mm. Bill ripped on that tele from start to finish! 🙏

A man, with an electric guitar and a beard, sits alone on a dark stage. He is surrounded by people and trees. Pin points of light glitter across the frame. The photo is deceptively serene, masking the fury and inspiration that was offered by our hero on stage.

Later, it becomes February, and even later, spring returns - Mary Oliver, from ‘Crows’ I vaguely remember this day, but not quite sure where this was. #120mm #bnw #mediumformat #analog #analogfilm #mamiya #photographer #maryoliver

A portrait of my brother, I’m not a fan of photographing at high noon, but I do like using bright indirect light. March 2021, photographed on Mamiya C220, portra 400 #mamiyac220 #mediumformat #kodakportra400 #portraitphotography #ottawa #canada

One of the many Polaroids I had up at de Montigny Contemporary (Formerly Studio Sixty Six) this past summer. Rhetorical Summer, 2024. A large-scale narrative, told across a grid of 32 images, captured on Polaroid SX70 film. #photography #art #canadianart #canadianartist #polaroid #analogue

Pippa on Spectra Polaroid (2019). Probably the shot I am most proud of. We captured this in one-take with a 24 second exposure. We practiced the movements, steadied the mirror on a light stand, and managed to capture three images in one. #photography #art #polaroid #artbsky #canadianart

More polaroid fun from the archives. A slow Spectra (rip) shot from inside a Montreal metro station in 2018. #instantphotography #polaroid #photography #canadianart
