Yeah my paddles have had the stick clicks on them for years, it’s so much better for my hands. It does suck when I have to use a different controller without paddles though, they have spoiled me forever

This controller has the best D-Pad I’ve ever used. It’s LOUD though - like possibly distractingly-loud without headphones. Feels good AF tho!

store.steampowered.com/app/829280/K... This is my favorite example of that philosophy. The on-ramp is so well-crafted that I WANTED to speed run this game, and felt equipped to do so, by the time I was finished with it. It also has features which encourage and facilitate that desire. Awesome game!

“this system…doesn’t serve ads arbitrarily; instead, it…uses machine learning to determine when it’s the best time to show players the ad.” As anyone who listens to podcasts can attest, this will absolutely dump ads directly into the middle of whatever I’m doing in the most jarring way possible

Maybe you should check those websites out and read their reviews to hear an alternative opinion? Lower scores tend to be pretty interesting to read. It’s good for your brain to consider many differing opinions, helps your critical thinking skills stay sharp 🙏

I’m saying that he made a mistake, he apologized for that mistake and also lied about it being “just a disguise,” and he hasn’t publicly made that same mistake again. Whoever chose to accept his apology, that’s their choice and they don’t owe anybody an explanation.

No one is ignorant enough to assemble that collection of items for a costume and not know what they’re doing. It was 12 years ago and he hasn’t done anything else like that (at least in public view) since, but you can’t look at that and believe it was anything other than a caricature.

If this post makes ICE more paranoid and suspicious of each other, then I consider it successful, especially if it’s not actually happening and nobody besides the agents themselves are in danger of friendly fire.

Without all the meta-progression stuff you collect during runs, there’s no way you can just stand around at any point during the first several runs in VS, especially as a new player. Once you’ve played the game enough, sure you can make it trivially easy, but plenty of games do that. It’s a feature.

I tried to listen to the audiobook and got about 30mins in before the physical discomfort I was attempting to endure grew too much. The prose is pretty bad by itself, and when it’s coupled with the audiobook reader’s performance it’s so viscerally awful that I can still feel it anytime I think of it
