Or if you've got some more budget for high quality, check out the QK100, the QK101, the neo98.. there are a LOT of fullsize boards out there and a lot of them are very easily convertible to silent

Could always build a custom mechanical board that's more ergonomic and quiet 🤷‍♂️ A lot of what people associate with mechanical boards is either the mass produced cheap boards or the ASMR sound bite boards, all of which have basically one kind of sound lol

YUZU or GoblinTech if you mean full custom keycap sets If you just mean a custom artisan keycap then that's usually a bit tougher since you'll have to find actual artisans, but r/keycaps or r/mechmarket is a start 🤷‍♂️ There's also an artisan trading discord server if you want an invite

Unfortunately, magnetic (or hall effect/HE) switches also fills that similar niche of "gamer", so very few fullsize boards, if any, as 65s and 60s are all the rage when it comes to that :/

Completely understandable! Backlit caps tend to be a bit more niche as they exist in this sorta semi-enthusiast semi-mass consumer space populated by mainly gamer peripherals. Just to be sure, have you checked companies like Razer, HyperX, Logitech, etc?

Nothing like spending hours tuning switches only for them to not be perfect lmao If it's just spring ping you're trying to fix tho, you could throw a bunch of springs into a ziploc bag with a couple drops of Krytox 105, shake em up, remove, and add back into the switch It's always worked for me lol

Silent switches are *way* more particular when it comes to lubing considering they've got either a lil rubber dampener or the plastic cutout tab, and either one can be super easily affected. Hopefully it doesn't sound too bad though lol

As someone that's all about aesthetic, I get going for the one that you don't have something similar to yet lol BUT There are a ot of boards out there that are GORGEOUS, so going with the one that initially caught your eye is my vote until there's one that immediately speaks to you in a darker color

1000% TX AP all the way 9 keyboards in and only had to tune one 7u wire, rest have been flawless out of box with just a little 205g0 on the housing and wire for no rattle or ticking whatsoever

There's a LOT of options, so definitely take your time lol I'm still struggling to settle on a silent tactile for a work board I'm putting together, so probably gonna be ordering a few small batches of 5 or 6 different switches and just go from there
