Genuinely happy to be back covering indie games. Different landscape - a renewed love for it.

Bank holiday in the UK = The Sound of Music. The best bits....

Found this again. The time I created the aircraft noise use in the Airplane movie. Jim never has a second cup of coffee at home…

Oh dear goodness. I've had my phone(s) like this for coming up to a decade.

My boy Milo wishes you the best of health. Cheers! Just look at those boots!

My old alter ego featured in BBC Introducing a few weeks ago was the highlight of the year. More of that to follow in '26.

Damn that was one heck of a gig.

Still very proud of this, always will be.

Found this afternoon in a charity shop. I'm like a BOY excited to see if this works etc etc...... I sold mine years ago and have regretted it ever since. Please let this be ok.....

Messing around in Vital. I seem to have made the airplane noise from the film Airplane.

More noodling in Bitwig. Just a sample sketch although the dub delay all over the place has perhaps some legs.

Something new from me. Well I say new, I've been meddling with producing EDM again. 20 years ago I made breaky techno and played out in the UK, EU and a few times in the US. I quit one early morning at a festival in Belgium and downed tools. If you fancy a follow, I'm @LYFsounds on X and Insta.

What say you Hornet? Is it your time to take to the dance floor?

Home with this in the mailbox. I'm trying to guess the DS2 review score before I get to it.

Same. I take this to work on occasions and it gets treated like a holy relic.

The first and possibly only video of mine to hit 1 millions views. Thank you all so, so much.

I tired this a good 5 years ago but thought I'd do so again. A weekly magazine like round up of the big indie game events, announcements, reviews and launches. I tried to pull something together that felt like a 10 - 15 min read of your fave gaming mag over say a coffee.

My office help today was anything but.

After a few too many flash starts, tomorrow marks the honest to goodness restart of my indie game discovery journey on YouTube and wherever you get your podcasts. Placeholder thumb. As always, many thanks for the support over the years.

He’s fast asleep. How is that comfortable? By goodness I love this cat.

Last night was Milo’s first thunder storm and boy he wasn’t a happy fella. He’s been asleep like this for most of the afternoon. Classy.

15 or so mins into Despelote and wow, just wow. The opening sequence with the atmosphere and back story framing is unlike anything I’ve seen before. I’m thinking this will be really quite special.

Packing for a weekend away. Milo isn’t helping. Those eyes tell me he’s aware of our absence for a day or two. Love this cat.

Rolled the credits again on TLOU Part 2 remaster on the PS5. I’ll be needing something slight more uplifting. Here’s hoping Bionic Bay is just the tonic.

Off for a walk with my boy who took off his jumper to reveal this. I did a little bit of merch 4 or so years ago. There are perhaps 12 of these in existence. New video tomorrow 2pm UK / 9am EST.

Brought her out again - perhaps a Switch 2 launch game?

Fast asleep with his comfy bed just out of shot where his front paws are. Cats.

A black and white cat lies on a checkered rug in a stretched out position. The cat is fast asleep and has a contented look on it’s his face.

Might as well get this out for another read….before putting it back in the loft for safe keeping.

EDGE seems to have the good grace to arrive on a day off. Cat seems happy too. That right front paw = recent surgery. He’s doing just fine.

New build time. We’ve decided to go full overkill with a complete Noctua cooling solution. These bad boys are delightfully marmite.

This cheeky fella continues to help our lives feel just that little bit better. He’s the perfect boi.

The start of our new project. We’ve opted for the NZXT H7 Flow in black. We’re thinking on a full Noctua build with a 4080 and yes, this won’t just be for Indie Games. We’re migrating our content and game dev work to PC from Mac.

Our cat getting in on the soccer action. He’s a delightful menace.

A Short Hike’s little nod towards Firewatch. I keep coming back to this over and over.

Going to pop back into a Short Hike and fall in love with it all over again.
