twinned vision is legit great though. discard to battlemage for value, can spike off heroes’ hangout or challenger, filters dead removal va creatureless g1. post-board, lotta draw-go action, esp w izzet, so instant speed card flow is super nice.

lost playing for t4 of both rcqs, but was trying stuff (cards, sb strats, decisions) and playing to learn as always. chose to draw first g3 vs spelementals with izzet, for example. do not try this at home etc.

Had T1 IoK off River of Tears once, which is basically the dream. Last few events have solidified my opinion on cutting Force otp vs Prowess (keep 2 otd) + cut all Forces vs Broodscale. Prolly due for a new sb guide

Was trying some bullshit ofc. Ketramose actively good vs Prowess and gives you more game vs anything midrange or control, so that’s nice. Never drew JVP, but seems fine in theory as a very, very bad Frog. Can value Goryo’s it which isn’t the worst either. Had a T3 kill and some T4s.

GW had the best winrate on the weekend, posting sub 50% only vs 4c, Dimir, Omni, Spelementals. I think my version is slightly better vs 4c and Spelementals. Dimir is gonna be rough no matter what though

Playing Modern for the first time after 6 mo of Standard is also wild. Maybe just the decks I was playing in Std / the decks that were good, but damn give me a Psychic Frog and Force of Negation and I feel like I can never lose unless I blow it (which I did). Std felt closer to flipping coins

Winternight Stories was great. Would consider a second but it is slow. Wish Snare was better atm but 1 is fine to draw vs most ppl. Mishra’s Bauble was great w Riddler and Atraxa. Also bc I /think/ I missed zero triggers. Wouldn’t be shocked if that number was ~3 though.

Wanted more combo action. Would play 2nd Griselbrand and either Unburial Rites or Footsteps of the Goryo. Lost every game I drew Thoughtseize. Card sucks. Never again. Played 0 games where I fetched a tapped shockland. Idk how mfers find time to surveil 3 times per game. Literally never want 2nd
