Edge Hill station, Liverpool, is one of the oldest railway stations in the world. This part was opened in 1836 and has been in continuous use ever since. Forton Services was built on the Preston-Lancaster section of the M6. The architect was T. P. Bennett and Sons . It fully opened on Wednesday 14 July 1965, with 276 staff. #blackandwhitephotography #architecture #lightandshadow
