Forgot to sign up on time? Gotta stay at home to watch the fish? Dentist's appointment on Sunday? Whatever your reason may be for not attending SAPF 2 in person this weekend, you can still join in on the fun from the comfort of your home. Here's our stream schedule:

245 people signed up to Melee singles, but only 3 trophies. Just a few more days and we can get to figuring out who is taking one of these back home and who will have to settle for a badge and good memories. 3 days until SAPF 2!

It can be a tall task sometimes, balancing organizing and competing. One may ponder what a @mininuckels.bsky.social run uninhibited by other duties, with nobody to answer to but #teamorange, would look like. Join Nuckels and many others at SAPF 2 in ten days! Photo by @shannadesu.bsky.social

A follow-up statement from the SAPF team (SAPF 2 is not cancelled)

We would like to update you on the status of the SAPF 2 venue situation.

To put the most important news first: SAPF 2 is 100% happening!

We visited and inspected a replacement venue this week and are convinced that it is suitable for running a tournament of our scale. The City of Hanover confirmed to us in writing that we will be able to use it in the event that our original venue does not reopen in time.

You do not need to worry about needing to book new accommodation as the replacement venue is centrally located in Hanover and a ~10 minute tram ride from our original venue. All other relevant information on the replacement venue will be shared if and when we receive confirmation that we cannot use the original one.

The plan going forward is as follows: We expect to receive confirmation of whether we will be able to use our original venue on April 8th. We will inform you on what our venue will be as soon as we are able to. We know that this will be rather short notice but the matter is outside of our control.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
