New @transenvuk.bsky.social analysis of real-world data finds that PHEVs emit 6 times more CO₂ than lab tests suggest 145 g/km versus 24 g/km making them just 14% cleaner than combustion cars.
The data raises questions about promised consumer savings & why PHEVs are taxed as low-emission cars.
