Do they have enough air defense systems or will they have to transfer from somewhere else? (How many do they build a year?)

Ouch. What is the universe trying to relay?

Austria full of pro-Russians? You don't know what you are talking about.

It's an important point: successful open source projects are about more than just code - communities at work.

Discomfort is a key ingredient of growth. (As always, the dose makes the poison.)

Wien-Washington ist ein Tagflug, 10:50 - 14:35 (jeweils Ortszeit), also 10:50 - 20:35 Körperzeit.

One step, one ministry, one state at a time moving closer towards digital sovereignty.

Russia „condemns“ the Israeli air strikes against Iran, calling them „unprovoked“. This is rich.

I vastly prefer quality over quantity. AI, badly used as way too often these days, leads to the very opposite.

I'm puzzled: why would they share all those details?

They won the popular vote. Less than 2/3, still a majority.

Germany needs F-35 for nuclear sharing. Certifying a different modern plane would take a lot of time, money, and (Saab,...) revealing proprietary information. Assuming the USnis even willing.

I'm very happy with my HP Color LaserJet. The HP tools on Linux are not too aesthetical, the printer itself just works great.

That's a strong indicator of significant use of LibreOffice.

And @libreoffice.bsky.social's interoperability and capabilities are so much better than Google, for example.

When was that? And with which component? In my experience LibreOffice has come a long way in the past few years.

It’s time for THE charger. Today, the USB-C becomes officially the common standard for charging new mobile electronic devices in the EU. It means better-charging technology, reduced e-waste, and less fuss to find the chargers you need! #DigitalEU
A minimalist illustration showing a packaged charger box labeled "one Union one Charger." The box features an image of a blue charger with the European Union flag symbol and a USB-C cable. The scene is set within a holiday theme, with decorative Christmas trees, ornaments, and gift boxes surrounding the charger box. In the top right corner, there is a small EU flag symbol.

Isn't that sad, though? Both in terms of (lack of) choice and in terms what Firefox actually brings in terms of control and ease of use?

A pity indeed. And makes thr point for open source (or at least open platforms).
