Thanks for your comment, Sarah. I was amazed to find the heather is actually more vibrant than last year. There was some rain last week & this week we are due biblical proportions! Hopefully Bushy Park will experience similar & this time next week your second home will be slowly turning green! xx

You're absolutely right. I can see now why people go on safari! Unfortunately, I don't think I could possibly get up at dawn. We were lucky that we saw these wonderful animals as they were resting in their dens when we arrived and only came out in the afternoon. xx
