I do personally favor Medicare for all, but it’s important to understand we have to have some level of verification, which pre-auth is, to head off rampant fraud. 200

I’ve personally seen a number of fraudulent claims that were almost laughably easy to ID as fraud which were simply paid without question by Medicare, then paid by the Medicare Supplement the patients had. No prior auth invites fraud in and we all pay more. 101
