Sports are slowly becoming unwatchable. And that is a diagnosis. First, we all watch for 3 hours with about 2 hours of net game time. Then, contests are not suspenseful prior to just before resolution. The cherry on top is the ability of the “hand of god” intervention at any possible second.

VAR was never about fairness, but about means to controlling a football game. If with all this technology referees keep making mistakes over and over again, why have the technology anyways? It can tell a microscopic offside but cannot tell if a player touched the ball or not?!
