Happy new year 🥂✨ Very drunk on Prosecco but excited to see what 2025 brings

I forgot to post the other day but I hit my goal of reading 50 books this year! So many amazing 5 star reads and I branched out into a couple new genres as well ✨

Klaus is one of my favourite Christmas movies to watch, genuinely funny and so heart warming with a unique animation style (although it always makes me cry so have tissues ready) 🎄

Today I get to give my mum this pet portrait I drew for one of her Christmas presents 🎄 It’s of our first family dog Stig who we lost ten years ago, now he can join Roo and Willow on my mum’s wall at home ❤️ (I’ve included the other portraits as well)

I’ve finished work for the year and celebrated by making brownies today 🥰 Ready for 12 days of relaxing by reading, drawing and possibly getting back into writing again

The Eras Tour is ending today and I’m forever grateful I got the chance to see my favourite artist live and hear my favourite songs for the first time after being a fan for 16 years 🥹✨

I’ve been obsessed with the Fruitcake Christmas album since last year so I’ve been looking forward to this 🎄✨🎁

Please enjoy these photos of my cat having supervised tree time so he doesn’t eat it 🎄✨

Christmas ornaments and cute mugs are my weakness (please don’t ask me how many mugs I have now) 🎄✨

Georgina Donnelly 🍂 @georginadonnelly.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

Writing has been such a struggle lately but I managed 500 words last night which is a win I just need to remind myself it doesn’t matter what the first draft is like I just need to get words down, even if I want it to be perfect first time (it never is)

Georgina Donnelly 🍂 @georginadonnelly.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Here’s a closeup of her face because I added many sparkles that couldn’t be seen on the other picture ✨

Georgina Donnelly 🍂 @georginadonnelly.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Excited to share this recent character portrait I finished for a client, so different to what I’ve done before 🧚🏻‍♀️ obsessed with how the wings turned out!

Georgina Donnelly 🍂 @georginadonnelly.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

I’ve impressed myself because these taste amazing!! Not bad considering the last time I baked anything was over 10 years ago

We’re doing a Christmas bake-off for work next week (judged on how they look) so I made candy cane red velvet brownies 🍬🍫🎄🍭 Trying not to feel sad the brownies aren’t as red as I wanted

She’s Goodreads official, baby!!! www.goodreads.com/book/show/22... A heretical storyteller partners with an ancient spirit to undo the magic that subjugates her to the crown, in this chilling debut fantasy filled with monsters, dark rituals, and corrupt deities.

2024 christmas theme: Enchanted woodland🌲🦉🍄‍🟫🦌🪶✨ Will have to wait until daylight tomorrow so I can take another picture to compare to the tree decorations I had for the last 5 years, but I love it so much!

Gladiator 2 gets five stars for me, I loved it just as much as the first, maybe more in some places thanks to the action and characters! It’s even given me a little inspiration for the book I’m writing at the moment 👀

I’ve fallen off the face of socials for the last month but I’m going to make an effort here so a little introduction ✨ I’m a fantasy writer and artist from the UK, normally found drinking coffee with a cat nearby, creating magical worlds or bringing other people’s characters to life

It’s a dumpster fire on the other site so I’ll be popping back on here a little more now I think 😅

I always forget that I have this app as well where I can post things 😅 so here are a few commissions I’ve finished in recent months that I love

Portrait of a male character with slicked back brown hair, warm brown eyes and deep red/purple eye shadow, high cheekbones and pale skin. He’s wearing a purple tux with a diamond brooch pinned to the lapel

Two characters facing each other, preparing to kiss. The male character has long, maroon hair up in a ponytail, his skin tone is warm and he has amber eyes. He’s cupping the cheek of the female character who has curly, copper hair pulled in a low ponytail. She’s pale skinned and has amethyst coloured eyes. He’s wearing a deep red jacket and she’s wearing a purple tunic.

Portrait of a young woman with long, wavy, deep brown hair that has red streaks through it; it is styled into two ponytails with plaits at the hair line. Her skin tone is warm brown and she has green eyes that are vibrant. She’s wearing a black top with a burgundy leather jacket.
