It’s heartbreaking, especially when you’re spending time with little ones and thinking about the children and teacher in Bend. 💔 No words can truly express the sadness. Sending love to everyone affected. 🥀

No parent should ever have to worry about their child’s safety at work, and no teacher should have to put their life on the line just to protect their students. 💔

That’s not awful at all. ❤️ You’re a mother, and of course your heart would be filled with fear every time you hear about another shooting. Your daughter sounds like a truly brave and caring teacher, and you must be so proud of her.

Exactly! Democracy should give ordinary citizens a voice, not allow wealthy donors and corporations to drown them out. Money shouldn’t determine whose voice matters most in American politics. Campaign finance reform deserves serious attention.

Well, if everything was done by the book, there should be no problem with transparency, right? Let’s see what the records actually show. Nobody should be above scrutiny, regardless of who they are. 👀

Right now, we could produce two or three times more drones – depending on the type. But we simply don’t have enough money for that. It’s true. Just imagine if we could put two or three times more pressure on Russia than we do today. -Zelenskyy

There are some very simple facts. We stop most Russian assaults on the front line thanks to drones. We cut Russian supply lines with these technologies. And our drones are helping to weaken Russia’s economy.

The war will cost 155 billion euros next year. And we need at least 70 billion euros more from you – for defense, for weapons, and for our resilience. This is a realistic amount. And I ask you to find this support. It will help us hold Russia back.

That’s a smart idea! 😊❤️ No one wants to spend too much time in the kitchen during a heat wave. A nice, fresh summer salad sounds perfect! What ingredients did you put in it?

Haha, I love that! 😂 Yorkshire and Scotland for the beautiful scenery, or a beach anywhere for the peace and relaxation. You can’t go wrong with either! Is there a particular beach you love visiting?

Exactly! People need to wake up and realize that our votes have consequences. We can’t keep rewarding failure and expect different results. We must hold our leaders accountable and vote for people who put the people and the Constitution first. Democracy depends on us.

It’s heartbreaking and frightening that this keeps happening. Schools should be places where children feel safe, not places where families fear for their lives. How many more innocent lives have to be lost before we take meaningful action to stop this? 💔

There are 4 sites where you may vote, Henderson County Board of Elections in Hendersonville, Etowah Library, Fletcher Town Hall or Edneyville Community Center. Early Voting runs through October 31st. If you wait until Election Day on November 3rd, you will need to vote at your regular precinct site.

IMPORTANT!! I am uncertain who is spreading it, but some of you may have received information stating that Early Voting begins at 3 o'clock on Thursday, October 15th. This is completely FALSE.. The polls open for Early Voting on Oct. 15th at 8 a.m, they close at 7:30 p.m.

Just because 2 westbound cars in front of me turned right, DO NOT EVER ASSUME that all cars are turning right, because I was not. FYI, in the event of a collision, my dash cam would provide evidence. Have a nice day!

Otherwise, I would have t-boned you on driver’s side at 45 mph (speed limit on GBR, for all you GBR SE drivers who cannot estimate speed of an approaching, through vehicle), causing significant damage and perhaps injury, all your fault so at your [insurance’s] expense.

Election integrity matters, but so does freedom of expression.

George Henry @georgehenry18.bsky.social · 13/10/2026
There’s a difference between deliberately spreading false information and questioning the integrity of an election. If a country criminalises certain false claims, the law still needs to distinguish between intentional deception and legitimate scrutiny.

Four hundred mature trees are not a small loss. If this was done illegally, those responsible must be held accountable. This is about more than anyone’s name on a project; it’s about responsibility and respect for our public spaces.

Protecting intelligence sources is understandable, but that shouldn’t automatically put every decision beyond scrutiny. You can protect identities and sensitive information while still providing enough explanation for the public to understand the reasoning behind a decision.

No one should be above the law, not even the president. If the evidence establishes criminal wrongdoing, accountability must follow. The presidency should never be a shield against justice, and the Constitution must remain greater than any individual.

But I also think it’s important to distinguish between the teachings of religions themselves and the way people and institutions have interpreted or used those teachings over time. Patriarchy is a complex issue with many historical and cultural factors behind it.

Fair enough, I understand your point. I agree that responsibility doesn’t rest on one person alone, Congress played a role in passing it, and Clinton ultimately signed it into law. So it’s reasonable to hold both accountable.

George Henry @georgehenry18.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
I’m not apologizing for Clinton. I’m pointing out that the history is more complicated than blaming one person. The Telecommunications Act was a congressional bill that involved bipartisan support, and Clinton ultimately signed it. Both parts of that record matter.

George Henry @georgehenry18.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
The buck stops with the person who signs it, sure. But the bill doesn’t write or pass itself. Congress drafted, negotiated, and passed the Telecommunications Act, with strong bipartisan involvement. Blaming Clinton alone leaves out a pretty important part of the story.

George Henry @georgehenry18.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
It’s misleading to put the entire Telecommunications Act on Clinton when it was heavily pushed by the Republican-controlled Congress and ultimately passed with overwhelming bipartisan support. Clinton signed it, but he certainly wasn’t the only political force behind it.
