As it's #holgaweek I'm going to post a holga image for the next 7 days. Not all were shot for previous holga weeks. Easedale Isle, off the Scottish West coast, there are no vehicles on the island, so supplies have to be removed around by wheelbarrows. August 2024

Think it's a wooden bobbin, they were originally used by the French Huguenots, to serve as trade signs. Huguenots were master silk weavers in the 17th-18th Century.

Yea, it was a nice place, old Victorian type of toys and cardboard theatre things in there. The museum was upstairs, had quite a few of those creepy looking dolls 😱🤣

It closed down after COVID ☹️, I think the landlord increased the rent ☹️ It was a pretty interesting place. They now have a smaller place in Leadenhall market.

Yes, it's trying to find a happy medium between paper thickness, a 130gsm paper is probably about the right weight and thickness.
