I ran out of the window film, will need to order more, it creates a defuse rainbow effect much more gentle than the sun but still bright, we don't have to put on the bright LEDs that have been fitted 🙈 i will always be aware of sensory issues, as bright lights and sounds are horrible for me too.

What do teachers do on inservice days? Well we listen to a lot of updates on policies then we spruce up our rooms and make sure they are welcoming and ready for our kids. This year i move to a full outdoor learning timetable so as a wee nod to science i used old tripods as plant stands

Well thats it. Holidays over. Its been a lovely summer for beach trips so I ended with Wild Ritual Saunas down at Dunure. Refreshed and ready for tomorrow ❤️

Our WiFi wasn't working this morning. Thats because the router was melting its way through a bean bag ontop of it 😳🙈😬 luckily we found it before a fire broke out!!! I think i threw beanbag behind sofa, must've landed ontop! Im currently seriously overthinking about what could have been!!! 🥴🙈😬

Lack of routine on holiday leaves my mind racing with the most random things. Last night, I spent 1.5 hours trying to find an old flame online.😆 not for any reason other than I wanted to know what they looked like now!!! Just nosey!!! Found their sister but not them. She looked the same!

I created a teddy tidy out of an old hoodie and a hanger! I do wonder if this is what comes out of my brain....what could I achieve if I stopped fannying about with the crazy ideas that come out my brain 🤣

Staff just popping to photocopy room at end of "my classroom". Kids heading through room to access rooms at either end of it, PTs office at other end so kids and CAs and other staff popping in to see her ...so I was basically teaching in a glorified corridor!

Our toilets are treated with huge disrespect by a small minority but they add to this anxiety. I can see it from all sides and the huge overriding thought in my head is how do we deal with the vandals and vapers(setting off countless fire alarms) wish I had the answer but in my heart I know it...

What i need to do is, actually slow down at work and try yo be more focussed on one job at a time and not doing it all at once. But with ADHD I struggle with the focus on one task bit. I mean in last 3 weeks on term, I moved class, overhauled the new room , developed a curriculum for S1-S6 ODL,
