Young people deserve a say in their future. In Parliament, I asked the Minister to confirm that 16 and 17-year-olds will get the vote — and when. I was glad to hear confirmation that a plan and legislation will be set out before the summer.

The Mayor of Bournemouth with his official consort a black greyhound called Billy meets Jessica Toale MP for Bournemouth West with her bulldog companion Bertie. Both crouched on the steps of the old Bournemouth Town Hall in bright sunshine.
