I think this is the one thing from my math major that I still use in my day job en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Morg...
In propositional logic and Boolean algebra, De Morgan's laws, also known as De Morgan's theorem, are a pair of transformation rules that are both valid rules of inference. They are named after Augustus De Morgan, a 19th-century British mathematician. The rules allow the expression of conjunctions and disjunctions purely in terms of each other via negation.

The rules can be expressed in English as:

The negation of "A and B" is the same as "not A or not B".
The negation of "A or B" is the same as "not A and not B".

is this how non-frontend folks feel when they read about JS frameworks?

getting a lot of (presumably Svelte community) follows in the last hour; is this the @rich-harris.dev Bluesky bump?

spending more time on 🟦☁️ these days. will probably check in here from time to time but only out of some combo of obligation/addiction/muscle memory

it's nicer over there. it's not as mastodony as mastodon and it isn't run by an anticharismatic manchild. you should come

ok this is pretty cool - an "infinite bossa nova machine," made by doctorn0gloff on Twitter. All built in vanilla JS. Select a new key and it will smoothly modulate! Code is well-commented, kinda want to figure out how it works. code/demo: replit.com/@doctorn0gloff/autoharp
Screenshot of the linked "infinite bossa nova machine". It shows a circle of fifths and various controls. It is currently "playing bar: ii-V to Bb"
