Another from Morrison's, "House IPA" from Dugges of Sweden. Quite subtle up front, bitter on the back, with a smooth mouth-feel from the oats. #BskyBeer

Morrison's have upped their beer game once more. Polly's "Beginning Futures" is a pretty decent DDH pale, part of the "4 for 3" offer. #BskyBeer

A lively little bugger, from Three Legs. NEIPA with Mosaic and Riwaka. All the NEIPA flavours, with lime on the back end. A cracking beer. #BskyBeer

I'm opening the evening with "Oatipa: Sabro" from Three Legs. The oats round it off nicely, smoothing the coconut so it becomes a hint rather than overbearing. Good stuff. #BskyBeer

Onto a sour now, and this is excellent. "Gary" guava & lime from Three Legs. The lime is up front, with the guava playing in the background. Top quality (unlike the photo). #BskyBeer

I'm on the train tomorrow, so can enjoy a couple of beers today. Back on the Three Legs, for "Sesh" session IPA. A good way to wind down the weekend. #BskyBeer

This is really impressive. It's only slightly stronger than "Offa", but feels really smooth and pleasantly rounded. My favourite from Three Legs so far, "King Offa". #BskyBeer

Testing my hypothesis on the last beer. Not sure I was entirely correct, but any excuse for a Chouffe. #BskyBeer

"Offa" land beer from Three Legs. Apparently not a "land beer" in the German sense, more of a golden pale which puts me in mind of softer Belgian beers. (Think a dialled-down Chouffe.) Very nice. #BskyBeer

My first from Three Legs, a NZ pale featuring Rakau and Nectaron hops. More bitterness than I was expecting, but it grows on you. Good start. #BskyBeer

Got my Brewser case today, from Three Legs Brewing. Completely new to me, but looks like a great range- a couple of sours, some interesting pales, what I guess is their flagship "Offa" land beer, and an unfiltered lager. Really well packaged to boot! In the fridge for tomorrow... #BskyBeer

Timmermans brews are now in Morrison's. This is lovely, with the black pepper coming through pleasantly on the back end. Feels like a bargain. #BskyBeer

"Fieldfare" from @thornbridge.bsky.social . Proper hazy IPA, which tastes both as you'd expect and also surprisingly original. A really good entry in what sometimes feels like a crowded field. #BskyBeer

This is excellent, "Black Mountain" black session IPA from @thornbridge.bsky.social Retains that lovely frothy head and tastes at least as good as it looks #BskyBeer

Smooth, with an almost umami profile if that makes sense. Really satisfying. "Zehn" from @thornbridge.bsky.social getting a zehn fon zehn von mir. #BskyBeer

"Every Minute Matters" is an apt name for a bank holiday Sunday beer. From @sirencraftbrew.bsky.social , this has a much lighter feel than I was expecting. Lovely beer. #BskyBeer

It's a bank holiday tomorrow, so I'm cracking this to celebrate. "Vermillion Sky" dark cherry sour, from @durationbeer.bsky.social . Aged for 3 years but hits with freshness. Incredible beer. #BskyBeer

As you'd expect from Vault City, the flavours are spot on. Doesn't smell great initially, but tastes superb. "Cherry Cola Float" sour. #BskyBeer

From my @durationbeer.bsky.social stash, "Crisps" extra extra pale ale. A perverse pleasure, featuring a touch of MSG for tasty giggles. A bonkers and fab collaboration with Five Points. #BskyBeer

As if by magic, we're staying 3 miles from @durationbeer.bsky.social . Lovely walk there, a top-up of beers (and a t-shirt) from the friendly shop, a visit to The Stag for lunch (and Duration beers), and a walk home. A great day!

Absolutely brilliant from Jump Ship, "Motueka IPA". Tropical fruit and lime from the hops, an outstanding AF beer. I believe all of their beers are gluten free as well. Cracking stuff. #BskyBeer

I picked up a mixed case of Jump Ship AF beers via Brewser. I really enjoyed Jump Ship when I tried them a couple of years ago, but this selection looks like a giant leap forward. I'll review them as I go on, but right now I'm blown away! #BskyBeer

Enjoying an unfiltered AF pilsner from @teamutopian.bsky.social whilst cooking dinner. Really tasty. Bizarrely, I'm thinking I need to get a couple in the fridge for after my next ultra. #BskyBeer

Real "man of the people" vibes from Farage et al. The "event" took place in his constituency, but about as far from Clacton (and Jaywick) as you can possibly get without crossing into the next constituency. (Green dot is roughly where it took place.) Can't wait to hear how it was funded.

I had a day off today, so did what any well-adjusted idiot would do and ran 54k, on a route I dreamt up. Ipswich to Flatford and Dedham, then back to Harwich. A couple of beers tonight!

My final @8sailbrewery.bsky.social beer, "Black Widow" strong dark ruby mild. It's a great beer to finish my stash on, even if I saved it for #stouturday because I didn't read the description and assumed it was a stout 😂. #BskyBeer

"Made Glorious Summer" special pale from The Union. A collab between @thornbridge.bsky.social , Garrett Oliver, and Brasserie de la Senne. With Fonio grain and pilsner malt, this delivers a soft Belgian funk with a hint of green apple to finish. #BskyBeer

"Mango Jaipur" from @thornbridge.bsky.social hits the spot. The perfumed sweetness of the mango works really well with the usual Jaipur bitter finish. A great way to replenish after yesterday's shenanigans. Bonus pic of yesterday's step count. #BskyBeer

No beers for me Friday or Saturday, so thought I'd sample a couple from my @thornbridge.bsky.social subs box this evening. "Ster" continental lager is top quality, with a slightly appley/ citrussy finish. Glad I bought extra. #BskyBeer

"Green Lane" stout from Cloudwater. They describe it as a step on the journey to perfecting a stout recipe, and to be honest it's not their best work. It's ok, but lacks a bit of body. Still better than a lot of others though... #BskyBeet

"Summit About Nothing" single hopped pale from @8sailbrewery.bsky.social . It tastes and looks a bit like a dialled-back Chouffe or similar. It's absolutely perfect for a summer beer, and at 3.4% it's ideal for a session. #BskyBeer

"Best Bitter" from @8sailbrewery.bsky.social is, yet again from these guys, a quality beer. They describe it as a "no-nonsense best bitter" which is a fair description but doesn't mean it's not interesting. Great stuff. #BskyBeer
