Yup. And I love it just for that. The Renault 5 EV generated a remarkably small amount of noise, perhaps because the original was a really niche car. Let's see how this one does.

Well, we'll see. I have a sneaking suspicion that America isn't capable of the levels of introspection and change that are required to protect against this happening again in the future, so the country will just sweep the whole thing under the carpet. And so, it will happen again.

Although a really small tree is sometimes even better. We have a fairly dense copse of Scots Pines behind the house, that we planted about fifteen years ago. Right in the middle I discovered an oak sapling, growing tall and spindly, reaching for the light. Really heart-warming.

Ah, I hadn't spotted that they've released a BEV C-HR. Looks like a decent offering, at a not outrageous price here in the UK. I still won't be buying one, they said too much in the last ten years. But at least current Toyota owners now have good options.

My guess is that he will survive to the mid-terms, then conveniently die afterwards (helped along the way if nature inexplicably doesn't get him first). This will allow Vance and his puppet-masters to take over and have two and a half terms in power, whilst using Trump as some weird martyr figure.

Normally the Welsh rain does the job for us. Right at the beginning of this summer's long, hot, dry spell, one of our upstairs windows got hit by a package dropped by what was obviously a very unwell Albatross. I eventually snapped, after about two months, and got up there with a pressure washer.
