In 2026 one thing I want to do is clean my computer archive folders, lots of photos of games I own/owned/traded/etc. over the years, so I wanted to create an online archive.

Quick pic of my Retrobit Super Retrocade and all the systems I have up and running for it - pretty much everything except GBA works perfectly! I also got the Origin 8 wireless controllers working just fine on it.

I recently decided to dedicate my Analogue Pocket into a dedicated "Consolized Game Boy", and have it setup to play Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games. There are some amazing games on those systems that still hold up today! I can't wait to replay some old favorites.

Just cleaning out my computer hard drive and came across these pics from when I completed Dr. Mario!!! I had finally cleared all the stages through level 20 on high speed and was quite proud of myself! This was back in 2019 or so on a raspberry-pi, so I need to do it again on an actual SNES.

This was the first video game I ever played. Avenger by Electra Games! It was 1976 and my family owned a hotel in Upper State New York where we had our very own arcade! This was the start of my life long obsession with video games. #genxretrogaming #retrogaming #genxretro #arcade

I recently started playing through all of the original Final Fantasy games, currently playing FF1 on a consolized GBA. It was a toss up between FF and the original Ultima series (Ultimas 1-6), but I remember the Ultima games so well I don't think I'd have as much fun replaying them right now.

My son picked this up for me at goodwill for $10!!!! So excited he thought of me and snagged it. Two controllers (one original and one MadCatz). The bag is a little dusty but in perfect shape otherwise, the system and controllers all seem solid too just a bit dirty - the disc has no scratches!

Both of these pets passed long ago, but I thought I'd share this photo. The cat was named Sadie, and she was very old, like almost 20. She had a pet gerbil named Edward that she cared for. They were inseparable. <3 #pets #cats #gerbils #genxretrogaming #genxretro
