Brought him back out since I was finally able to fix the hand, and noticed whatever paint Jakks uses for the CE figure, is the same as f4f’s, which is neat. I’d like to find out what it is so I can touch up a tiny chip in the coat on the statue’s leg

I’ve always cheated the layering of his spines in art bc it’s always been about the star silhouette over practicality (I’ve gotten a little better at it lately) but getting to SCULPT it in 3d would force me to figure out how to layer the sides, and also I just think it’d be fun asf to wear???

I really haven’t illustrated much with csp, now I feel like shit for accomplishing Nothing with it, so I’m back at square 1. I stopped paying bc I couldn’t justify the cost for not drawing enough!! but I *do* genuinely love its qol/editing tool updates SO MUCH more aughhh

nO COME ON- I /JUST/ GAVE YOU PROPS FOR BEING CLEAR FOR ONCE. WHAT DO YOU M E A N “undergoes constant upgrades” WHEN ITS A LITERAL CHARACTER POINT JUST BELOW THAT “Eggman upgraded him *once*, then reverted it, so he’s normal again” HELLO???

Metal Sonic

Height: 100 cm
Weight: 125.2 kg
Special Abilities: Black Shield, Overdrive
Characteristics: Undergoes constant upgrades

Metal Sonic is the ultimate mechanical rival to Sonic, specifically engineered by Dr. Eggman to match the hedgehog’s speed and power.

Previous upgrades to his AI chip have granted him autonomy and ambition, pushing him beyond mere programming into actual sentience. However, thanks to Sonic and friends those changes have since been reverted, restoring Metal Sonic to his original state. Unfortunately, that means he’s still a cold and deadly enforcer that answers to Dr. Eggman, and he remains one of Sonic's most threatening and dangerous foes

Finally, a bio that makes sense!!! 💙😭🙏🏾 This is the first time it’s outright stated Metal’s capacity for full sentience *isn’t* something that’s fundamental to his code (which now draws a distinct line btwn hyper and mainline) A little bummed that means he’s not cooking in the bg, but I get it lol

Lrp nnnnnnoooooobody can top ABT’s artstyle in my book!! I fucking adore his lineart, and kinetic motion conveyed in general. but he always draws Metal so cleeeannn. That and these are STILL my favorite panels out of the whole run 😩💙
